An opportunity has arisen for an ICT End User Technician to join the Trafford College Group (TCG) and play a leading role in realising our vision to unlock the potential and foster the success of all our learners by leading

About You:

We are looking for someone who is able to operationally deliver our IT Systems Support and ensure that there is provisions of an effective and efficient IT support function to all TCG locations. You will have experience of providing professional and successful IT technical support service to end users and have successfully installed and maintained company-wide IT and AV equipment and IT software whilst ensuring provisions are fit for purpose and for the end users.

The Job:

You will work with the ICT Team to be responsible for the operational delivery of IT systems support and ensure the provision of an effective and efficient IT support function to all the Groups sites.Responsibilities will include: -

  • Provide professional and successful IT technical support service to end users in line with the Trafford College Group’s values.
  • Successfully install and maintain all IT and AV equipment and IT software ensuring it is fit for purpose for end users.
  • Provide support to staff in the use of the college’s hardware and software including operating systems and applications packages.
  • Perform necessary scheduled and on-demand maintenance of IT equipment.
  • Install authorised software on end user devices.

You will have a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Information Technology and literacy and numeracy to a level 2 or be willing to work towards this.
