We are looking for an Attendance Officer to join the Maths and English Team to help us achieve our vision To be a leading provider of education and skills that supports community cohesion and drives local and regional productivity. In this role you will support the provision of a responsive and comprehensive quality support service to help the Group improve overall student attendance and ensure achievement of attendance objectives.
Responsibilities will include:-
- Maintain and update learner attendance and punctuality records on ProMonitor (student database) on a daily basis.
- Produce timely and accurate reports on student attendance for key stakeholders.
- Identifying student attendance trends and issues and taking appropriate action.
- Contact students to follow up on poor attendance outcomes and to pass on information in relation to attendance to relevant person.
In order to be successful in this role you will have numeracy and literacy at Level 2 (or be prepared to work towards), have excellent keyboard and inputting skills, previous experience of working with young people within a student support environment. Previous experience of working with personal and sensitive data is essential.
